My qualifications post MBBS and MD, include both DM in Nephrology and DNB in Nephrology. I also have SCE from the Royal College, London (UK), reflecting my dedication to science and evidence-based medicine. I also have a fellowship from St.John’s Medical college hospital (Bangalore) in paediatric nephrology. With over 14 years of experience in dealing with patients with kidney diseases, I’ve served as an Assistant Professor in Nephrology at the prestigious Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad.
Degrees

I am a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), the American Society of Nephrology, and the International Society of Nephrology. I draw inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of ‘Kaizen’, which means constant and never ending improvement. And my endeavour is to be a constant learner and my mission is to make science understandable to general public.

Achievement

Currently, I serve as the Senior Consultant Nephrologist, Kidney Transplant Physician, and Medical Director – Nephrology at the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) in Siliguri, the gateway to northeast India. My areas of expertise are kidney transplantation, Resistant hypertension, Clinical Nephrology, critical care nephrology and Pediatric nephrology.
